Researchers from the local branches of research institutes, as well as retired university professors and researchers from other disciplines of the University and Polytechnic of Bari, who have carried out activities related to physical sciences and technologies, may also join. Additionally, retired physics professors or those who have conducted physics-related work from other universities\u2014who were formerly employed by the University of Bari\u2014may apply for membership.<\/p>\n<p>Objectives:<\/p>\n<p>The Association aims to disseminate scientific and technical knowledge related to physical sciences as a fundamental component of the cultural and professional education of citizens, particularly younger generations, in order to foster widespread awareness of the importance of science in the harmonious development of society.<br \/>\nIt serves as a point of reference in the field of physical sciences within the local area, alongside universities and research institutions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-1152 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/scuolascienzeetecnologie.uniba.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/gal-1024x642.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"339\" height=\"248\" \/><\/p>\n<p><!--StartFragment --><\/p>\n<p>Specifically, the Association aims to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Organize meetings, exhibitions, training and refresher courses on topics in physical and technological sciences and the history of physics<\/li>\n<li>Provide scientific support for educational projects and for promoting a culture of physical and technological sciences and the history of physics<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with schools in implementing projects, scientific culture weeks, and conferences on topics in physics, history of physics, chemistry, and mathematics<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with universities, academies, and other institutions involved in promoting scientific culture and enhancing the historical scientific and technical heritage<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with media outlets to share information about physics research activities, with particular emphasis on those carried out at the regional level<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Founding members:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Augelli Vincenzo (<strong>President<\/strong>), Baldassarre Luigi, Catalano Ida Maria, D\u2019Erasmo\u00a0 Ginevra, Maggipinto Giuseppe, Minafra Antonio Francesco, Picciarelli Vittorio, Rain\u00f2 Antonio Cosimo, Stella Rosa, Verrone Grazia, Villani Matteo<\/p>\n<p>As of dicember 31, 2018, the professors have joined A.DI.FI. :<br \/>\nLuigi Borzacchini, Bruno Ghidini, Luciano Guerriero, Giovanni Bruno, Pio Capezzuto, Donato Fortunato, Laura Caponetti, Eugenio Scandale.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seminars:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dicember 19, 2018, Vincenzo Augelli, \u201c<em>Il grafene.
